What happens when every cat is on the breaking point? When there's no where left to go? Peace is unavoidable, there's no easy option? What happens when you have to battle pride? When you can stay and fight, or flee? When every movement is made with unease?
We are the warriors, we battle to survive. The moons are tough, only the strongest to survive, it's either kill, or be killed. It's all about pride, all about coming out on top. And when that pride is shattered, who knows what we'll be forced to do. There's no easy way out in this forest, not any kittypet could survive our standards. We survive the harsh leaf bares, the prided wars. We are strong, and only the best can live under these trees. The breaking point is coming, warriors can drop like leaves, but we're ready for the challenge and we will fight.

Needs;;
All the clans are in need of cats. We are currently accepting all ranks, loners, kittypet, etc. High positions and warriors are prefered.
Important announcements such as activity checks, plots and site updates will be placed here. Keep checking back here for updates about what's going on !
Come here to introduce youself, I'm sure the oldies here would be glad to welcome fresh blood.
It is prefered if you were to post here if you are going on vacation, moving, etc. It's nice to know that you'll be on hiatus, at least then we know you haven't up and left without notice. Oh, and here's the place to go if you are leaving... forever. D=
Like everywhere in this world, we have rules. They are simple and easy to follow, I trust they will go mostly unbroken. =] Rules are merely to keep things in order, I wouldn't want chaos to strike, that would be sad. But yeah, rules, in the world of the clans, and the world of Shattered Pride. This is also where we will keep ceremonies, clan information and such.
Here's where you may stop by to drop of suggestions to improve the site and what not. We're always looking to gain members and build a better site. Have any questions or suggestions, here's the place to be. This is also where we will place the frequently asked questions.
Here is where you can come to just chat with friends and fellow role players between posts. Play random games, chat away aimlessly. This place doesn't have a specific posting topic, we encourage random here ! Yay random !
Here is where to come if you're looking to show of an epic website. We prefer role playing websites, though we're not strict on it, so long as it's appropriate. Come here to link back, first time advertise and whatever what-not you desire !
This is just a simple board where staff can come together and discuss potential upcoming events or ways to improve the site. Nothing special goes on here.
Within this board is a frequently updated number of lists, these lists contain the names of all the cats currently being role plays. Be they are in Riverclan, loner, or even Starclan, they will be accounted for. Here's the place to go to check on clan numbers, who's in what clan, genders, etc, rather than having to go through profile after profile.
First of all, this is the place to go if you're looking to create a character in which you'll role play. Now, this isn't going to happen unless you have the rules code. That means the board is unaccessable until you find the right password. It's fairly simple, read carefully through the rules, you'll find it. =] Once you have the password, feel free to make a character.
Once your kitty has been approved, it will be accepted and moved into this board. The biographies will be placed accordingly. When they are placed in this board, you have the okay to go ahead and role play. =]
This board is optional, you don't have to make a journal for your character, I just find them interesting. It's like a brief recap of your character, personal thoughts of certain cats, loves, friends, enemies, etc. It's pretty layed back, not manditory, it just kills time.
Here is where our grand plots will be placed. If the site is undergoing a major plot, here is the place to look, though links to it will be placed everywhere. Anyway, you may also discuss mini plots and such, even if you want a big battle or something, post it up here. Please don't under go any major events without the okay of at least one staff member.
Here is the place to go if you want a kitty, but you're just too lazy to make a bio. The owner of cats may post here saying they don't want a certain kitty anymore, or they could just kill them off. But if you don't want to see you cat die, give them to a good home here. With the approval of the own, and possible a staff member [depending on rank], other members may provide an example piece of writing as that character, so not to stray personalities. Once the okay is given, feel free to role play with your new character.
M'kay, well, this is a place to go if you're searching for something for your kitty, such as a mate, a friend, or even an enemie. It's really up to you.
Under the cover of the towering trees, their leaves showering over the camp in dapples of emerald green, within the heart of Thunderclan territory resides the camp. Bramble paint across the edges of camp, marking each den for each rank. A great rock also perches within the clearing, the rock is where the leader calls his or her clan to gather, this rock also marks his or her den. The leaders den. The camp with well protected, nestled into the far reaches of the forest, the gorse tunnel is the main entrance, a large ravine climbing up to the forest beyond.
Thunderclan territory is usually rich with prey and shelter. Their warriors have mastered the skill of moving through the undergrowth almost completely silently, some cats feel unease, not being able to sleep directly under the stars, just as Thunderclanners feel unease in the wide open moors. They are very adapted to their territory, though they still suffer harsh leaf bares, life is sustainable in the thick woods.
Surrounded by the tall pines, the Shadowclan camp is sheltered in shadows. The pines are a great light barrier, shade isn't hard to find here, though as the story says, the pines to little hope to the harsh winds blowing across their territory. Shadowclan's camp is sheltered near the heart of the territory, dens nestled into clumps of ferns. The leader may adress his or her clan at a low charcoal black rock. This also acts as the leaders den, nestled between the rock and the camp barrier, brambles are thinly lined to make a shelter from rain and snow.
Lying across the Thunderpath from Thunderclan territory, Shadowclan's territory fades from the warm greens of Thunderclan forest to the dark pines known to be Shadowclan's claimed land. The land if marshy, some places are known to be sloppy and muddy, other parts of the territory are known to have a harder grown, great for battle training. Dead pine needles shower the cold earth, to Shadowclan cats, this is great comfort, soft to the touch. To outsiders unfamiliar and unused to the territory, the pine needles are horrid.
Riverclan camp is sheltered near the rear of Riverclan Territory. They are well sheltered, little threats are posed from other clans within Riverclan territory, raiding clans must first surpass the river, a challenge for any warrior outside of Riverclan. Their camp is on dyer ground, per say to the rest of their territory. Dens are sheltered in ferns, nests lined of moss and soft feather. Riverclanners are all for shiny and pretty things, shells and such decorate their dens. The leader may call his or her own clan together at the barren tree. A tall tree looms toward the western edge of the clearing, stripped of it's bark. The leader may perch on the lowest hanging branch, a few tail lengths from the ground.
Riverclan territory is lush in prey, almost during all seasons. It is richest in the warm seasons, but even when the cold seasons drive in, Riverclan are generally pretty well off. Unless the river is frozen over, fish are availble almost all of the time. The ground is moist and muddy, especially by the river. Riverclanners are expert at swimming, and they use this to their advantage. The many reeds are great places for water vole and such, learn how to swim, and Riverclan is a superb territory.
Windclan camp. Windclan camp lies to the north of their territory, unlike Thunderclan or the other clans, trees are scarce, providing little protection against the harsh winds. At first glance, it's a marvel at Windclan camp, the rolling hills of the moors are like any other, but Windclan camp, it's as though a very warrior from Starclan scooped out a massive paw full of the earth. The earth dips down into a hollow, resting within this hollow are the Windclan warriors. Even the camp provides little shelter, there are patches of heather, the most sheltered spots being given to the queens and elders. The leader calls his or her clan at the high mound, a small rise in the clearing for the leader to adress. His or her den resides beside it in a woven patch of heather.
Windclan territory. The land of the moors. Their territory consists of pretty much the rolling hills of springy grass. Trees are scrace, the odd boulder scatters the land, the odd badger den. But at first glance, Windclan looks barren, epsecially in leaf bare. The land is detering, just a blanket of forbidding white snow. Windclan is mains abundant in hares, rabbit, rabbit holes scatter the land, if you wait patiently, you just might see one slip from a burrow or clump of heather.
A great paved Thunderpath lays between the thick cover of trees and marshy pine forests. Speeding monsters screech across this foul smelling twolegged path, this is the border between Thunderclan and Shadowclan. The Thunderpath itself is a dangerous place to be, even without the threat of enemie clans, though this has never detered tresspassing before.
Upon nearing the border of Thunderclan and Riverclan, the location is easy to find. The purr and gurgle of the surging river, this marks the spot. For Thunderclanners, the river is a challenge, it's a risk swimming it, though Riverclan is at perfect ease. Tresspassing isn't so tempting to Thunderclan, though the river can be beaten, swimming(high risk), when the river is frozen over, or even the stepping stones.
The border here isn't so tough to pass, there are no natural or twolegged forces to stop these warriors, only the code and mind of the warrior. Lining this border is also four trees, a neuteral land for the clans, the rest of the border is marked by strong scents of the rival clans, it only take free will to cross this border. Chaos could be quick to sprout.
The border here is quite some travel, the Thunderpath is still in harms way, though the determined will not be swayed by it. This border isn't as popular as it is to neighboring clans, but it is still a border.
This border is also sort of out of line, it is still a well protected border on both sides, the river stands between the two territories, but this will not stopped the determined mind.
In a clearing at the center if the center of the forest, where all four Clan territories converge, there is a space sacred to Starclan. Four great oaks stand at the corners of the clearing. At one end is a large boulder called the Great Rock, where the Clan leaders stand during the Gatherings. Every month, at the full moon, cats from all four Clans gather here in peace for one night to share the news of the forest.
Far to the north of Windclan's territory, across a danderous Thunderpath, there is a range of mountains known to the cats as Highstones. Deep inside a cave in the mountain lies the Moonstone, a glowing rock turned to silver by the moonlight. This is where cats from all the Clans must go communicate with Starclan. Leaders travel here to receive their nine lives and their warrior name. Medicine cats visit the Moonstone together once a month at the half-moon, to trade remedies and share tongues with Starclan. There are many names for this place, Highstones, Mothermouth, etc.
This is Starclan, a territory not marked on any map. This territory cannot be stepped on by the simple forest cat, this is the clan of the stars, where the deceased go after their death. Starclan are the ancestors of the noble forest cats, they will one day join this clan as well. Prey is always abundant, the weather is nice, Starclan are the deceased warriors of Thunderclan, Riverclan, Windclan, and Shadowclan, rolled into one. The cats here are wise and do not fight about the roots of past life.
The dark forest is a harsh place. Sinister cats are sentensed here after death, warriors who have caused more than just battle, cats like Tigerstar reside here. These cats are not welcomed by the forest cats, nor are they welcomes by Starclan. Exciled from the clan of the stars, the Dark forest is their new home. It always seems like night here, dark, dreary, and prey is scrawny. Unlike Starclan, the felines here don't always get along.
Loner territory. This is a place unclaimed by any clans or twoleggeds. This is a place abundant with loners and rogues, here they may roam freely without the threat of the upwalkers or clans. Though, like the rest of the forest, it has it's draw backs in leaf bare.
The twolegged place is a nightmare to the forest cats, but a sanctuary to kittypets. The land is rish with monsters and twolegs. Clan cats are on high alert in this area, kittypets are at ease, aside from the common dog or monster. This place mostly holds the kittypet, though you'll see the odd loner wondering the ally ways.
